Manhattan Sunset

I was in awe of the skyscrapers when I visited New York. My old chum Andy who I traveled with said your inclination is to just look up and drop your jaw….true words…

Havana Sunset

Castillo Del Morro is a good spot to view Havana at the end of the day. Boats ferry the water between until nightfall. The girls I photographed in this shot I feel epitomize the freedom of youth and eternal hope

Brighton Pier

The starlings that used to swarm the carcass that is now the West Pier in Brighton appear to have migrated east and populate Brighton’s all singing and dancing pier. The city’s seafront is well documented photographically- here’s my contribution

landscape photography

Celtic Crosses have much to offer and remind me of familiar territory. I shot this one through the eye of another. The sun sneeking through and illuminating the forground lends a spiritual perspective

monochrome mountain image

I like the rugged stone-stepping on this barren landscape which I gave a twist to with my fish eye lens. Sitting on top of the world you can almost sense the curvature of the earth

Pen y Fan photograph

There's a saying in Brecon- 'when you can see Pen Y Fan it's going to rain, and when you can't see it it's raining.' I took this one from its top before the rain! It's no wonder the armed forces train up here

Cuckmere Haven

I have often passed this spot imagining an image such as this. One chilly October afternoon I returned on a special visit hoping the timing was right. I love the way the river meanders its way to the sea

Trinidad Beach

After several days traveling around it was good to rest up in Trinidad for a while and chill out on the beach. To be honest it doesn’t get much better than this!

ice formation rock image

I love the slate-like rock in this photo and the ice formation that has taken to it. Who would have thought there could be such sunshine to backlight it?

coastal landscape photography

West Wales can look bleak and desolate but I love it! I'm very fond of this massive foreground boulder, it fits with the setting rather well- Druidstone beach!

brecon beacons photography

There are so many textures and contours to the Brecon Beacons. I love the dappled sunshine in the distance...something you've sometimes got to look hard for in Wales!
